frequently asked questions
what is his art process?
Unique style and high quality materials.
A lot of attention to detail goes into every aspect of Sebastian’s creations. When starting a new project, Sebastian does a lot of research to ensure his subjects are not only accurately drawn, but shown in their natural environment. He will then create a few rough sketches to establish a composition that is interesting and has his own unique style. His final drawing is then made on high quality Bristol paper, and then drawn over with archival ink pens. Finally he uses a combination of professional grade Copic markers and chalk pastels to bring the drawing to life.
How can I order a custom commissioned piece?
Personalized experience
Ordering a commissioned artwork is a very personalized experience. The process begins by getting in touch with us via email or contact form and describing your vision for the drawing. The price of the drawing will depend on the size of the work, as well as the complexity. Sebastian typically works in 9×12 up to 19×24, however we can accommodate specific size requests.
Once this has been established, Sebastian will create a few sketches with his ideas. We will email/text them to you so that you can provide your feedback and suggestions before the final draft. Depending on your interest, we can also send progress updates, or if you prefer, let it be a surprise when you receive it in the mail. Every drawing includes a personalized thank you note from Sebastian.
